It is currently only available in 5.x, and I have contributed a patch to port it to 6.x, and uploaded to the site's issue log regarding this. It has been idle for over a month, even after a ping to the author, Crell. I have offered to be co-maintainer, but have not received any further communication. Here is the issue's discussion thread:

If you grant me access, I can make a 6.x release, and even get started on a 7.x release.
Also, for future work, I have a Featured Content module that I've developed for a client and have permission to refactor and release as an open source module. It uses the Node Queue dependency to tag content items from various types, CCK to associate promotional images to said nodes, and then displays them in a variety of 'Featured Content' blocks to chose from (used for front page, site sections, random block promotions, etc.) I realize there are a number of modules similar to this, specifically the FrontPageSlideShow module in that it uses a similar jQuery functionality, but will try to work with them to combine our efforts. This is really out of the scope of this application as I currently only plan to contribute to and offer maintenance for the Kiosk, module, but that is my intent moving forward.

avpadernoUntil the current maintainer doesn't reply saying that he accepts you as co-maintainer, you cannot apply to get a CVS account, as your request to get a CVS account is made to become co-maintainer.
