I believe that the best way to permanently fix this and have a map displayed in node view is by making cck display the gmap in the view which should also enable theme support.

If this turns out to be too comboresome then the final solution to this problem will be using the location block as explained in node view gmap: block fix

@nickl: just wanted to confirm what this issue is about. Is this to make it possible to display a Google Map on a node with CCK?

Because that's already possible in the dev version. I've attached a screen shot.
