vijai3d commentedThanks, I resolved this problem before saw this comment. The problem was in prefix. By default (Englesh was default lang) there is no prefix, I wrote "en" and now it works.

I had the same problem, when English is not the default language, I couldn't switch the language to English.
To solve the problem, I added 'en' to the path prefix: http://localhost/admin/settings/language/edit/en
And could swith the language.
Maybe this helps others as well.

snullaged commentedIs there any fix for this, that does not require a language prefix for each language? In many cases, you would like the standard language URL's to not have to have a language prefix. Currently, this works fine in all browsers except IE 8 and less as far as I can test.
