Please help with any ideas.

I can't switch english language in IE and Google Chrome on site: www.montessori-lv.org

It works fine in FF.

It works in IE7 for me.

Oh, yes, it works in IE7 for me to, but not in IE8!

Try changing the language negotiation to "Path prefix only" under admin/settings/language/configure

Thanks, I resolved this problem before saw this comment. The problem was in prefix. By default (Englesh was default lang) there is no prefix, I wrote "en" and now it works.

FYI,

I had the same problem, when English is not the default language, I couldn't switch the language to English.

To solve the problem, I added 'en' to the path prefix: http://localhost/admin/settings/language/edit/en

And could swith the language.

Maybe this helps others as well.

Is there any fix for this, that does not require a language prefix for each language? In many cases, you would like the standard language URL's to not have to have a language prefix. Currently, this works fine in all browsers except IE 8 and less as far as I can test.
