I'm pretty new at this so I hope this is the right way to report this issue.

Images are occasionally disappearing from articles on a site I have built - clearing the Image Assist cache rectifies the problem. This has now happened about 6 times in the past few weeks. No changes have been made to where the site is hosted, it is running on a large shared hosting service in the UK.

The site has become quite busy, averaging a number of thousands of page views a day. The concern is I can't be sure the articles pictures are always available. Each of the articles has up to 30 images. The site is http://www.ashonbikes.com - with Drupal and any modules used at current versions.

Is there anything more I can do to locate information to help in understanding this problem? Also, would there be any way to setup a workaround (like clearing the cache during the cron run) that might help manage it?

Thanks in advance for any help anyone might be able to offer.

Cheers from Australia

I'm having the same issue...the Image will appear as a node but will not appear in any post.

I'm having the same problem. I have tried creating a bare bones development site to rule out conflicts but I still cannot get any images to appear in a post. The image node is created but all I see in the post is the link i.e.[img_assist|nid=6|title=Blanky Gone|desc=|link=node|align=right|width=75|height=100]. The only Modules installed are Image, Image Assist and Views.

Has anybody resolved this issue or developed a workaround? I've had a similar problem.

This should be fixed in 2.x and/or 3.x already.
