Hello,
I've installed the flexifilter module without errors. But when I go to Administration->Site Building->Flexifilter , there is absolutely no menu options available to me e.g. create new filter or import a filter. I have given myself every single permission possible to be sure that's not the problem. I've attached a screen shot of what I see.

bwmolloy commentedProblem solved - the download was corrupted. I have extracted it using 7-Zip which didn't raise any warnings, but when I tried extracting it using winrar, it flagged the problem.

DrupalSza commentedI'm having the same problem. Extracted with 7-zip and still didn't work.
Any thoughts?
imeidolon commentedstill broken for me. Not working as of 12/14/2009. My screen looks just like the screenshot posted earlier.
Tested Extraction on
- unix with tar.
- windows 7zip
- windows winrar
All extractions result in this problem

DrupalSza commentedAt least I know I'm not alone.
I'm uninstalling and settling for "freelinking" module... although is much more restricted to what we can do. At least can create camelcase html links, I'll leave the rest to bueditor until this gets resolved.
JasonMoreland commentedtry enabling the php filter module.
If that fails then the attached flexifilter works for me. It seemed to come to life once the php filter was enabled but it may have been a cache issue.
bjcool commentedI also have the problem.
Is flexifilter still supported???
bjcool commented"flexifilter 6.x-1.1-rc2" works for me (see http://drupal.org/node/207020/release?api_version)
bjcool commentedcwgordon7 released version 1.1 and this works fine.
Thx cwgordon7!

DrupalSza commentedtried the php module, didn't change anything - however with your version attached above everything works great!

huesforalice commentedHello all,
unfortunately it still doesn't work for me. I tried the 1.1 release, the last release before that and also the zip file posted above. I get the same problem, I can visit the flexifilter admin page, but the menu is missing and i am not able to create new filters or remove old ones. Any ideas anyone?
Thanks
Dave

Sabino commentedHi,
got the same problem: there was no option to create new filters and everything else is prompted with "access denied". Update.php did nothing at first. Then I deleted the files, installed the 1.1-rc2 and this time update.php did update the database and after that the module works.
bjcool commentedDid you activate "flexifilter 1.1" after you tested "flexilfiter 1.0"? In this case you have to run update.php to fix the db layout - even after deactivating "flexilfiter 1.0".
iantresman commentedMe too.
Have just installed 6.x-1.1 on a site which has had no earlier versions. On visiting admin/build/flexifilters and opposite "Mediawiki Format", selecting Edit, or Delete or Disable, I get the error message "Access denied: You are not authorized to access this page."
There are also no options to create a new filter. There is nothing in Permissions to change. I am user ID 1. I have run Update.php, even though this is a new install.
Having created a new test user (User ID = 3), Flexifilter does not show for them at all in the menus, even though I have activated all permissions for Authenticated users. The Mediawiki Format does show in the Input formats.

comicat commentedGot the same problem as iantresman's .
bjcool commentedHmm in #5 enabling the php filter module suggested. Can't remember whether I enabled it before flexifilter started to work.
iantresman commentedI tried disabling and enabling the PHP filters, and clearing the cache each time, but unfortunately no change to my situation described in #14 above.

huesforalice commentedOk I had version 6.x-1.1-rc2 (after trying a few others) and it wouldn't work. Now I uninstalled 6.x-1.1-rc2 and reactivated the module. Now it seems to be working. Haven't done anything else to the system in the meantime. Maybe this information helps anyone. Just try uninstalling and reactivating. Seems like the database can get in a mess if you try several versions.

iantresman commentedhuesforalice, but does the latest 6.x-1.1 work, which seems to have been released after 6.x-1.1-rc2?
huesforalice commentedWell the rc2 is the one that works for me. I won't touch the system again as long as the current version works. I'd just check out the 6.x-1.1-rc2 on your system.
