I get the above error when trying to install drupal-7. I am trying to install on postgresql database.

any help / suggestions would be appreciated.

Worth noting, that this bug isn't actually to with the demonstration site (I think). It's just installing the "plain" site that is included with the Drupal 7 tar file

Am seeing the same error in d7 alpha1 - again - not demo site install - plain alpha1 install. Postgres 8.1

Further note - same error happens with mimimal install - so it's not just standard.

Raised against d7 alpha1 core install http://drupal.org/node/691322 as it does not seem to be just this demo install profile that is at issue.

I found a note that you need postgresql 8.3 or later - I had 8.1.19. I now have 8.3 running and drupal installed OK. Can you check your version?
