Im can use a User Relationships defined relationship to include users "related" to the current user by a specific UR relationship Type.
The 2 views provided by User Relationships, which I believe that you are referring to, do not return the list of "related users". Instead one of them lists all requests for "friending" between all users for all relationship types. The second view just lists the relationship types.
I'm not sure how you were intending on using thee views, or if you had something else in mind altogether. Please let me know your use-case and I can help you get IM working for your needs.
