Does this module allow me to specify which group post types can be posted in to which group types? Meaning, if I have two OG node content types - Students and Classes, lets say, I can have an og post type called Student Chat that when you go to post it only Students groups are shown as possible audiences, and another called Class Notes that only allows posting to the Classes og's?

I had assumed that to be the functionality of the module but it appears to do it per group, not group type, and this won't work as the users will constantly be creating new groups.

If this is not doable in this verison of the module I would be very interested in sponsoring work to make this possible.

I am looking for a module that does the same thing. This module does not allow that sort of action.

This looks like an awesome module; thus far I don't see settings anywhere in this module that lets you control by content type or by taxonomy (if you're classifying group nodes).

This module (alteration of OGUR) gives default role to a groupadmin or groupmember per groupcontenttype

A patch is missing though...

+1 for adding this as a feature to this module.

You should be able to define defaults on a per content-type basis, and not just per group.
