I've just sent an e-mail to robertDouglass to ask him whether it would be okay if I were to co-maintain the advanced cache module.

I'd like to co-maintain it because it's a module that gives the performance an enormous boost on any drupal site. Currently, it's not really maintained while there are still open tickets waiting to be addressed. These tickets mostly already have a solution, sometimes created by myself, and would just require implementation.
