The Insert Module (formerly known as filefield-insert) module assists the creation of URLs to uploaded images so they can be placed inline. It's a really great way to work with imagefield and other file-fields (in my opinion).
This originally started as a feature request on that issue queue to support the CCK URL formatters.

@Quicksketch has now added support in Insert for CCK URL formatters, but it is up to each individual module to work with the hooks available in Insert.
Now, Shadowbox must include the necessary hooks to work with insert.

Thanks for a great module.

obrigado commentedI just did a quick and dirty refactoring of origo's Insert hooks patch for Lightbox2, and it seems to work fine. No time to roll this up tonight, but help yourself. And thanks, origo, for figuring this out.

quicksketchThere is a newer patch in #1886464: Support to add Insert integration for shadowbox that works for Drupal 7. Perhaps this issue should be marked duplicate and closed.
