Any help would be great!
Unfortunately, my website designer has decided to up and leave, and I would really appreciate it if I could get some help with some of the more technical sides of drupal. Unfortunately too, I can't really understand some of the terms that are in the handbooks or where to begin, and would need a dummies guide to my queries!
1. Help on uploading attachments - I have been having problems uploading .pdf attachments even after I have reduced it to the smallest file size I can. First I thought it may have been the file size, then I checked with my server to see if our domain site supports a website with all the files and photos I need to upload, and was told that we have plenty of space and he can't understand it why either. What do I need to do to solve this?
2. Upgrades available - Upgrades from 6.13 to the new version, I'm told is now available. After reading up on it, it would appear it's best to back up the database and existing files first before any upgrades. I have no idea where I would find our site's database library(?) and where to go from there.
3. Gallery - My last conversation with my web designer said that some of the photos in the gallery got lost or that the links went missing during the change over from one hosting server to another. Would this be a matter of uploading them again? If so, is there a way where photos can be uploaded in bulk (like you do on facebook) rather than what we currently have to do, which is reducing the photo size and then uploading them one at a time?
Thanks in advance,
Zedgirl

1) need more info
2) see http://drupal.org/node/120630
3) it all depends on what you're using for your galleries. And yes, there are a couple of gallery modules that handle bulk uploads from a directory. Some I know of off the top of my head are: http://drupal.org/project/image, http://drupal.org/project/brilliant_gallery & http://drupal.org/project/fast_gallery. There may be others. Also, if you want to use an imagefield (added to core for d7) for your gallery you can use http://drupal.org/project/imagefield_import for bulk uploading.
