I goto admin/settings/gigya
I have the transparent background box selected
I fill in #fffff
I save
Fine.
When I come back and edit, any transparent color box is now blank and I have to fill it in again.
Otherwise I get the error in the title.

EvanDonovan commentedI believe there are still issues with the Transparent color in 2.0. We will try to fix them after #742430: Patch to fix several bugs.
azinck commentedWe'll look into this, but in the mean time try typing "Transparent" into the color box and un-checking the transparent checkbox. I know it's unintuitive but I think it works.
EvanDonovan commentedHmm...interesting. For me transparent was causing problems with the background being either blue or black. But I don't remember now if I have the checkbox set or not.
vacilando commentedStill a problem in 6.x-2.1.
azinck commentedDid you try my suggestion?
vacilando commentedNo, as I don't think typing 'transparent' is a viable solution. The checkbox should do the trick, shouldn't it?
For what it's worth, I've now tried typing there but cannot, probably because I have Colopicker on and that always forces '#' at the beginning of any colour field.
One important point -- it only does not work for the background field under 'Parameters for Login UIConfig'. When I set a colour (to get rid of the word appearing there) and check the box, next time I load the page the colour is gone and does not let me to save the form until I chose some colour. But under 'Parameters for Connect UIConfig' after I set the background colour to white (and left the checkbox on) it keeps that colour and does not pose problem with form saving.

azinck commentedThis actually appears to be behaving fine in the current version of the module. Any time you have the checkbox set it will ignore whatever's in the color box and save it as "Transparent". I'm recategorizing this as a possible conflict with the Colorpicker module.
