Currently, an image opened in a popup window persists, if not manually closed; and when the main (originating) window is given focus, the image hides behind this;
if another popup image is selected from the same page, this replaces the first, but is not given focus - it remains hidden behind the main (originating) page.
Users need to close the popup first, if they wish to open another popup window from the originating page, or look behind the originating page to find the new popup.
Web-savvy users have no problem with this, tho it is inconvenient; it is a problem tho for average visitors.
Is it possible to either -
1. have the popup window close when not given focus (i.e., when the main/originating page is selected),
- or -
2. have the popup given focus, so that selecting a second popup form the originating page will return focus to the popup window

simillibus commentedmy bad,
the behavior above is in FireFox (v.3.5.6, Mac)
Just checked Safari (4.04), and this is not a problem there - popup image windows are given focus appropriately as in option #2 above.
I will trial other browsers when able - but as FireFox has ++ marketshare, it would be good to have this work ok in FireFox.
