Your site article regarding openpublish and ubercart

I have one very nice theme for OpenPublish that we've been building for about 5 months, as you can tell its going slowly (I'm too busy).

OpenPublish has its limitations and one of them in my mind is that many of the advanced features live in theme layer, for example if you switch to another theme half the features will not appear in your site. We trid to get around this by building a generic subtheme with theme settings just for OP, I am thinking about releasing it here on D.O.

Ubercart is different, totally different, very elegant and theme independent. I have a subtheme built for Ubercart that puts all other starter themes to shame with regards to theme settings and extra featues for UC. This one I will release but when it is fully ready.

If you have some specific feedback for OpenPublish to make it easier to theme, please provide suggestions at http://groups.drupal.org/openpublish We are actively reworking many aspects of OP to make it better for theming and any suggestions would go a long way to help that. We are currently migrating a lot of things out of views templates into preprocess functions (not a very easily supported process by views) and the like, but as I said specifics would help.

Wow, it was so long ago now and things have changed a lot both in OP and AT. I still have the theme of course but I think its woefully out of date and needs a brush up. I probably won't get to this until after D7 ships as I'm very busy with work right now. I would LOVE to release an OP subtheme, hell yes, but time is my enemy right now :(
