I notice the latest update for the keys API for Drupal 5 (keys_api-5.x-1.2) warns that the keys API is deprecated, apparently in favor of keys_api 2.x . I don't see a 2.x version for Drupal 5, though.

What is the recommended course of action for Drupal 5 users who want to continue using the Keys API?

The 2.x for Drupal 5 will be up hopefully by the end of today.
