I have installed the charts module and Google. When I create a new view to display my chart, the formatting option does not give chart as an option. It only offers Calendar, GMap, Grid, HTML List, Table, and Unformatted. I am fairly new to Drupal and have been going through the course on Lynda.com. I have been able to find solutions to all the other little issues that arose, but this one stumps me. I would appreciate any help.

For "Chart" option to appear in Views formating - you'l have to instal this module http://drupal.org/project/views_calc

For me the same, no Chart option. I install views_calc.

I also have the same challenge installing into D6.17 with view_calc installed.

The D6 version of the module is no longer being updated. Please reopen if the same problem exists in the D7 version.
