The date of the last version for book review (5.x-1.x-dev) was Sept 08, 2007. Is this project still being maintained?

The Book Review project (http://drupal.org/project/bookreview) is in all likelihood abandoned.

1) As noted, the last commit was in 2007.
2) The maintainer put out a request for co-maintainers in January 2007 (http://drupal.org/node/111511), which appears not to have received any takers.
3) With the integration of CCK and Views into Drupal proper, it would appear that a CCK/Views approach would have a broader appeal--indeed, several issues in the queue raise precisely this possibility.

step up, feel free to mark it abandoned now…
