Hi Sutharsan,

I tried 3 things:

A normal refresh on the page where I encounter the problem:

A 'clear cache' before I enter the page and try so save settings:

None of them worked. It's very weird that I only encounter this problem on "admin/settings/simplenews/mail" ...

Hi Sutharsan,

The exact same type of errors occur with Garland theme and Aquia Marine theme, while Rootcandy was disabled.

"page not found" when saving and theme breaking when refreshing the page.

Installed modules: although I installed all of the modules in the past month, there are a few updates to do... I'll try that and, I'll report back.

Little update: I downloaded the drupal install (I was working online) to an aquia Drupal Stack install (DAMP) with the exact same files (I didn't update Drupal or any other modules yet) and database and I don't experience any issues. The page updates/saves normally...

I'll search further.

--Edit: actually, I don't really know what to look for here. Any suggestions?

In Rootcandy admin/settings/simplenews/mail also does not load the button images. It only happens on that page.

Hi,

I installed my website on 2 other servers.
One of the same hosting (hostpapa.ca). It failed. Same issue.
And one on other hosting (brighthost.nl). It worked fine.

So could there be any other issue than the php settings? I added a third column that shows the brighthost.nl php results.

I really don't know what to look for. I'll look for some differences, that's all I can do.

My drupal error log reads these "page not found" errors as: 406.shtml .
When I google for "drupal 406" i found this that might be helpful: http://lists.drupal.org/pipermail/documentation/2005-July/001885.html

On the other hand, I asked for help at the Drupal irc channel and I was suggested to turn of "mod_security".
I found the following page about that on the hostpapa support pages: http://hostpapasupport.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kba... Adding "SecFilterEngine Off" to .htaccess gives an error. However if I add the first snippet on http://drupal.org/node/110219 , which looks like a modified version of that , my admin pages run twice as fast, but the issue still remains...

So it might not be a mod_security issue? :/

This issue has been solved after I contacted my hosting company (hostpapa.ca). They solved it, but didn't give me an explanation yet, though. If I find out, I'll share it here. I'm really happy with this and I suppose you are too, Sutharsan, as this isn't a Simplenews issue/bug... :)

I contacted my hosting company and they said that they use mod_security version 2 which cannot be controlled trough .htaccess files.
