We have had problems moving boxes in IE 8 (works fine in Firefox). You can grab and drag the boxes but it is almost impossible to find a spot where they can "land" particulary when trying to move boxes from one column to the other. It was also impossible to move a box to the top of a column for some reason.
We have now identified that this problem is connected to our settings for the visibility of boxes. If, by default, some of our boxes are not visible then the movability problem occurs in IE however if all boxes are set to be visible by default, then there is no problem.
Just wanted to report in case this is a general problem that can be recreated.

ghaya commentedIt would be great if someone could try to duplicate this so we know if it is our problem or a module problem. Let me try one more time to describe.
1. Put multiple blocks in homebox and set some boxes to visible and some to not visible in the homebox settings.
2. Try to move the boxes in IE 8, especially from one column to the other.
Does it work? In our experience moving the block seldom works since it is so difficult to find a landing spot. The box ends up bouncing back to its original position when you drop it. If we make all the boxes visible in the homebox setting the problem disapears.
Thanks.
