I recently installed and activated Views Slideshow, SingleFrame, and ThumbnailHover; however when I go to create a view, the only available mode is SingleFrame.
Views Slideshow: ThumbnailHover is enabled as are it's dependancies.
Really no other info to give; completely at a loss as to why it's missing...

bstrange commentedOk after a little troubleshooting, it is still broke :(
Disabled SingleFrame and went to views and chose slideshow only to find
Went to modules, disabled ThumbnailHover, reenabled ThumbnailHover, went to Views, same message...
Edit to add: Have uninstalled, reinstalled, redownloaded the package, checked number of files uploaded etc and still no luck...says it's installed and activated, but still throws the error above.

redndahead commentedNot sure what your issue could be. I've tested it and it seems to work for me. Try again with a new test website. To see if you still have the same issue. Marking as fixed.

chrisla commentedThis is happening for me as well. I've tested on two different sites with fresh installs of the Views Slideshow module.
Enabling only Thumbnail Hover on the modules page gives this message when trying to select the style options for the slideshow:
There is no Views Slideshow plugin enabled. Go to the Modules Page and enable a Views Slideshow plugin module. For example Views Slideshow Singleframe.Enabling both Thumbnail Hover and SingleFrame on the modules page only shows SingleFrame in the dropdown on the style options of the view.
Did the original poster ever find a fix for this?

bstrange commentedI never found a fix and just gave up...tried it on 2 seperate 'fresh' installed sites with only required modules and core, sorry for the late reply

redndahead commentedOnly thing I can think of is you are mixing and matching views 3 and views slideshow 2, but if it enables it should work. I have tested it here on my local box.

mljhilton commentedI am having exactly the same problem. I am moving a site from an 'old' account to a 'new' account with the same hosting provider. It worked perfectly under the 'old' account but not at all under the 'new' one. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared the cache, run update.php, but all to no avail.
Could it be anything to do with the version of Drupal Core or PHP?
It worked with Drupal 6.?? - August 2010 version, and PHP 4.
It's not working with Drupal 6.26 and PHP 5.2.
