Actually I was stopping by Drupal.org here to see if there is any interest in a 'component' to do this.

We've done lots of work with pnflashgames and wrote the dcsFlashGames component and modules found at ekith.com

I'm guessing from the lack of responses here, that there is not much interest in a flash games module for drupal? Who knows, maybe it's easy enough to do this without extras?

Anyway, if there is an interest, hit me back and we'll talk a little.

I am using pnflashgames with postnuke, its a good module that can bring users to your site i am interesting in creation of this module, high score enable

We sure are interested. We are currently developing something simular:

http://games.zattevrienden.be

But if there would exist a Drupal dcsFlashGames module that would allow use to keep track high scores, see the new games online automatically, .. that would be great!

I visit the flash components for joomla and its commercial, i run a free pnflashgames with Postnuke cms, at www.jeuflash.org
it will be great to turn this to work with drupal

I am planning on building a site with highscore-enabled Flash games. As far as I know, the following CMSs have modules to record scores from Flash games/applications:

Using PNFlashgames: (http://www.pnflashgames.com/index.php?module=Pagesetter&tid=3)
- Joomla
- PostNuke
- PhpNuke
- Xoops
- MD-Pro
- Invision Power-Board (message board)

Own module:
- Moodle

That's quite a list...so where is Drupal??

Unless I figure out how to write the PhP to track highscores in Drupal, I am forced to use one of the above CMSs.

So I hope there's some interest here to develop this module...

We'll look at getting into drupal once we reach version 1.1.0.

We are hoping to have this released by end of the year (few weeks) and once we squash any bugs then I'll get once of the guys here to start reading up on drupal development.

Thanks!

Flash game module created from scratch by leonglass 1/2008:

pnFlashGames-compliant Arcade module based on FlashNode, CCK, and Views by HolyChimp 5/2008:

This latter sounds very promising, but needs assistance from a Drupal guru.

I've created a site for beta testing the module here:

http://www.StarWestGames.com

After a bit more testing and some improvements (Views Integration is being discussed), it will be released on Drupal.org
