Hi, Sorry don't know if I'm posting this in the right place but ... I have two languages, I want users to receive notifications in language they choose in their profile, but notifications always arrive in language selected on language switcher at time of post.

For example user A has default language X. User B posts content on site when language selector is set to Y, user A receives notification of B's post in language Y (not X.)

I can't figure out where the issues is and its driving me nuts! Help please.

I have the same problem. I added the user setting variables to settings.php as described here:
http://drupal.org/node/313272

When I use English as interface language to add a user, select as preferred user's language French, he still receives his e-mail in English.
But when I use French as interface language, the e-mail is sent in the correct language = French.

Shouldn't the e-mail correspond to the user's preferred language, no matter what interface language the admin uses to notify him?
