Fresh Drupal installation: more modules

Hello,

After a fresh drupal installation at alexatnet.com I want to install several modules that should help me in site management. I think that your recommendations is the best way to find the good, well supported and stable modules for daily administration tasks. So, what I want:

1. Module for simple drupal upgrade. As I know, the drupal upgrade is a not very easy process: you should put site offline, turn off all the modules and themes, unpack source, update, restore everything. Does the module that helps with the upgrade exist?

2. New comment notifications by email: I want get a letter when new comment appears, this letter should have text of the comment, links that allow me to immediately delete it or delete it with comment to author. Something similar to Wordpress comment emails.

3. I want search friendly URLs to the articles, categories and tags. E.g. /how-to-install-drupal is much better then node/123

4. Install new themes and modules from Drupal administration by uploading them, w/o bother of opening ssh or cpanel file manager.

5. OpenID auth.

6. Spam cutter - I have used Mollom before and it seems ok, but what I want is more flexibility. For example, I want to disable comments with more then 3 links, disable posting more then 3 comments per day, etc.

7. User management: I want to see comments made by particular user in one list, I want to hide all messages of the user if it is blocked or remove them if user is removed.

8. WYSIWYG for creating articles.

9. Comment preview should be required.

10. I want the users to be subscribed on answers on their comments, but these email should not be sent immediately - at least 10 minutes delay is required because I may want to delete spam message before.

11. Private messages from administrator to users.

12. For most of my blog records the "read more" link is not necessary. What I usually do is clicking on "Split summary at cursor" at the end of the text - but in this case Drupal adds "Read more" link which actually does nothing so how to remove it or disable splitting for particular article/blog post?

Well, enough for now... :-)

Thank you for any help.

Alex

Hello,
You have to make some efforts, and find for yourself first, all you need.
Then, if you have problems ask for help. Imagine if everyone comes with a list?
Do you want this work for yourself? I believe not. This is not a work, for the seniors users, its only good well.
I'm new to drupal to, sometimes, I've got help from this community, but only when I'm get nothing alone, I'm spending hours read and searching, then, if I don't get success I ask for help.
Please try to understand, and make some effort, don't be a "help vampire" (citation)
;-)

Seriously, use search.

Honestly, most of these can be found with a quick search of the site - limiting it to Projects.

1. Drupal 7 (which should come out later this year.)

2. http://drupal.org/project/comment_notify or read http://groups.drupal.org/node/15928

3. http://drupal.org/project/pathauto

4. Possibly with Drupal 7

5. should be in core

6. http://drupal.org/project/spam

7.

8. search for ckeditor, fckeditor, wysiwyg, etc. You'll find lots to choose from.

9. In core.

10. - not sure of the time difference, but see link in #2 or look for notifications or subscription module

11. http://drupal.org/project/privatemsg

12. http://drupal.org/project/ed_readmore
