File can be placed in drupal root that will emulate clean install for gallery remote purposes
(easily be created for other methods)

I'm traveling for most of the next few weeks. I'll see about testing/getting this checked in once I settle in somewhere with Internet access. Thanks for the submission!

This also works for the 4.6 module :)

I had to disable clean url's on my new webhost and after that Gallery remote couldn't find the gallery anymore, but this small script fixed the problem.

I've just taken over maintaing this module.

It looks to me that this is still going to be an issue for some people. Perhaps it would be worth including the snippet in the README file?

As I've been working my way through the queue, I've come across #139125: Support for Non clean url, which this seems to be a duplicate of, and which is fixed.
