Image Publishing

This module aims to provide a full implementation of the Gallery project's Gallery Remote API in order to support publishing images using Drupal's Image module.

Features

This module should support publishing images via any of the various clients Gallery itself supports, including:

• Gallery Remote
• Windows XP Publishing Wizard
• iPhotoToGallery
• digiKam

Caveats

• Works with the image.module gallery facility, and operates on the taxonomy used by image.module. Does not work with album.module.
• Since the last development snapshot release, changes in image.module mean this module no longer works. Work is in progress to fix this (as of September 2008).
• In order to upload images either anonymous users need to have the "create images" and "administer images" permissions (probably not desirable!), or a patch needs to be applied to drupal core. See http://drupal.org/node/204209
