Book hourly slots within an already created event

Thanks for the great work on this module. Here is what I am trying to achieve:

I have a calendar with a content type called Event. An Event might last from, for example, February 15 8AM to February 16 2AM. Is it possible that a user can only book times during the timings of the event?

If not, then do you have any suggestions for what might be needed to implement that?
