Add "list images" for vocabulary

I would like to use an "list images" link in category view - maybe directly in row of category-item.

In my drupal I use cats with more than 20.000 items. On clicking images lists all! categories with items, but that is to much.

Is there also an easy way to use (configurable) pager or 'Free tagging' for that list?
