I have no idea how easy or difficult this may be to add but it would be nice to have the functionality to password protect an individual forum. Many of the big time bulletin board services include this.

This is probably out of scope for this module, at least for D6. It would be easier to do in D7.

But if you want to pursue this then start thinking about what the user interface should look like, i.e. how would you present a password protected forum and how would you prompt for the password?
