Hello,

I've installed the Dash Player and set it up for audio following both the video tutorials and written instructions. I'm pretty sure that everything is set up correctly...

But when I go to the Audio Pro player node, the 1st song doesn't load. Instead, it just shows a spinning circle which spins indefinitely. When I go to one of the audio nodes, though, I can click the filename and it plays (via Quicktime).

I've searched the forum questions and can't find any solution. Any help will be much appreciated!

Hello there.. same issue with audio. All set up correctly. I even using the last 1 branch of the services module instead of the 2 branch as it is in Beta but still no joy. Any help / advice would be much appreciated.

Hey jimmb,

I am pretty certain that your issue is between your connection with Drupal and the player. What version of the Services module do you have installed? The media player currently does not support the latest version ( I am working on getting this resolved shortly ). If you are using the 2.x.dev version, then I would recommend using the version 1.5 and see if that works.

If you are using version 1.5 of Services and are still having an issue, then i would recommend installing the program called Charles. This will reveal all communication between Flash and Drupal and will give you ( and me ) better insight as to why the audio player is not working.

Thanks for the response. I was using the "6.x-2.0-beta1" version of the Services module. I then installed the "6.x-0.15" version, but that didn't work either (same behavior as before).

In addition, I started getting these warnings on admin *and* publicly viewable pages:

    * warning: call_user_func_array() [function.call-user-func-array]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback, 'services_keyauth_access' was given in /home/mazusrec/public_html/includes/menu.inc on line 452.

    * warning: call_user_func_array() [function.call-user-func-array]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback, 'services_access_menu' was given in /home/mazusrec/public_html/includes/menu.inc on line 452.

As such, this is unusable for me - even if it got the Dash player loading the songs. I have now gone back to the "6.x-2.0-beta1" version of Services, and that removed the warning messages.

So, unless there is another version of Services I can try, I think I'd prefer to wait until the Media player is compatible with the current Services version.

Travis asked to use Charles to see the results of the communication between Flash and Drupal. I have posted the required results and hope to get an solution soon.

It's strange this is happening even when I use the same versions as in the video tutorial on the TMTdigital.com site... i.e. Drupal 6.13 etc. This leads me to believe it is an issue on my server.

Any advice would be great.

Thanks for the response. I saw your link and tried unchecking the "Use keys" option at /admin/build/services/settings. However, that wasn't the cause of the problem for me...

What happened, actually (sheepish admission) is that I didn't have the services domain set up right (at /admin/build/services/keys). It's on a multi-site install, and I was using that particular website's domain rather than the main domain. This thread ended up helping me figure it out: http://www.tmtdigital.com/node/1046

So I do have it working now with the current services module (6.x-2.0). Good luck in finding the answer on your site!
