It appears that Storylink is not currently being maintained according to #685944: Upgrade path from Vote Up/Down 5 to 6. I would like to takeover the maintenance of this module that never really got started. My motivation is that I have a Drupal 5 site that uses the Vote Up/Down module extensively and I would like to update it to Drupal 6.x. However, the Storylink node module was split off from Vote Up/Down when the module was upgraded for Drupal 6.x.

I've attached my initial attempt at creating a working Storylink module for Drupal 6.x. I don't have much experience programming modules for Drupal, so I'd appreciate any feedback from the community on how to improve this code and get it up to standards.
