[The root of this issue may not be in this module, but I'm hoping someone else has encountered this problem and can advise me how to fix it or work around it.]
I am trying to use a VideoField to display QuickTime .mov files, but finding that they are not consistently shown.
Some of the time, the video is shown. Most of the time, instead of the video,
1) In FireFox (v3.6): this message is shown:
Your browser is not able to display this multimedia content.
2) In IE (v8): a placeholder is shown (faded blue Q with a question mark)
With, for example, 3 videos on one page (each about 300kb), they may all be displayed, none be displayed, or just 1 or 2 displayed.
Generally they are displayed when first visiting the page, but then not reliably displayed when the page is reloaded later.

Jerome F commentedHi,
I'm trying to put a video field in a panel pane. Is this working ?
I have a .mov file I want it handled by quicktime.
Instead of the player, ther is the video without controls, I can just use the middle mouse button to scroll and "play" the video. Where is quicktime player ?
I use the field formatter : video
