More information about the subscribers would be very useful [#73364]

I would like to have more information about the subscribers in the database, notably:
- the date they subscribed
- the date they unsubscribed (if applicable)
- whether they subscribed or were imported

Should not be very difficult - if I were to submit a patch what are the chances of this making it to 4.7?

I would dearly love an opinion on whether or not this is possible or violates the principles of Simplenews? I think this information is pretty basic stuff.
Moreover, it would be very nice to have more than 15 subscribers per page, and to be able to sort the subscribers list by any of these features...

As far I know there are some patches (for 4.7) taht adds:

1) Serarching by eMail (I can't remember who did that)
2) Adding a "username" (my patch)
3) Searching by "username" (I merged 1 with 2, but I did'nt published it)

If I'll have time I'll try to port my patch (2) into 5.x

Having features like location would also be a huge plus. Sometimes you just want to send a note to people in Toronto or Ontario and not to the entire list. Admin customizable fields such as phpList offers would be excellent (but realize this is a lot of work).
