First, you've tagged this with Drupal 5 - this version of Drupal is soon unsupported so you should focus on Drupal 6.

Secondly, if you're new to Drupal, I'd suggest you start by reading the documentation here on Drupal.org, buying a book or two (http://drupal.org/books), and watching videos/reading tutorials (http://drupal.org/planet).
