Will WebFM in any way have the function to set user access based on user-id and the user-id's own unique directory. Right now it appears that WebFM has a shared directory.

I guess no answers means no solutions. I was trying to use all drupal modules for my site but I guess I got to blow the dust off of my PHP book and create an external file manager that works right..

likely would have received more response in post installation forum or in the issue queue of the module in question rather than in module development where one would have already thought you were writing a module and thus had some book and editor open already : )

If you are looking for confirmation for what WebFM does and does not the issue queue filed under a support request is another method of commnication.

http://drupal.org/project/imce may be an alternative.
