hi,

I just encountered the following problem with my new drupal 6.16 / magento 1.3.2.4 installation: when i hit the add-to-cart-button on a product on the drupal site, i get an alert saying 'There was some error during creating quote in Magento'

can you give me hint what this is supposed to mean?

thanks a lot!

oh, here's some more information (maybe it's useful): when i created the view to show the magento products i get the error 'Could not get state name because the remote site gave an error: This product is currently out of stock. (1).' - although my one and only testproduct is set to 1000 in-stock in magento catalogue...

hello, bonzo meier, thanks for you feedback, i assume you using latest available drupal modules (1.3 version) and magento extension (1.3.2)? please check latest since its in beta state so by default if you use "magento-community/Drupal" as key to install extension you will not get the right one, you need to specify "magento-community/Drupal-1.3.2". also i assume that you follow this installation curve http://drupal.org/node/468036.

if all above yes, then please provide few recent drupal watchdog's entries (that include error one) and full product info you are using for test (so i can reproduce this situation on my local computer). Any additional info about what you do to get those errors will be appreciated, since when i did my tests all was fine, and i test a bit more that 1 test product, still haven't encounter those errors.

hi Qwaygon,

thank you for your quick reply. after some digging around in the magento backend i found that i had some misconfiguration in my product settings - everything is working fine now, nothings wrong with your module!

and i'd like to add that this sure is a KILLER module! WOW! i'm impressed! this is taking e-commerce to a new level!

good to hear that, yep... module idea was super, but at some point we haven't much free time to spend on it, now thing are changed (at least for this moment) and we have someone (me, actually ^_^) to finish it up to stage where it can be used for real production environment. if you interesting in using this module i guess you will be happy to know that i've already finish next release that will fix many issues like huge performance gap in previous version, failing to apply pricing rules (see this issue http://drupal.org/node/519880), customer synchronization (see this issue http://drupal.org/node/665572) and others, so i DO recommend you to wait a bit and install 1.4 version.

But unfortunately magento connect channel is broken for almost 2 weeks, so i can't release magento 1.3.4 extension :( we post about it in this (http://www.magentocommerce.com/boards/viewthread/102262/P15/) thread but still no good news from magento team. As soon as they fix this problem i will release new version of "magento" drupal modules and "drupal" magento extension.
