much like the link to the changelog, it'd be nice to provide a link to install instructions. if we were really fancy, maybe we could automatically populate it with a link to an INSTALL.txt file in viewcvs given other fields ("CVS tree", and the fields added by cvs.module). even without the automatic link, seems potentially useful. just a thought...

This is still relevant, though the link might be to a handbook page instead of the INSTALL.txt file.

In general can't this be solved by the administrator adding a text field to the project node using cck?

Is there any reason that this must be implemented by creating a new field in the project module itself?
