Is there any way to disable tickets from being displayed on the front page automatically?

Also my breadcrumbs for the front page are showing "Home > Support Tickets > [1st Client]"

This is the behavior for every user that has Support Ticketing permissions.

Is this default behavior? If so, why?

Just go to the workflow settings in the cck and unclick send to front.

You can use link: /admin/content/node-type/support-ticket
and uncheck "Promoted to front page"
