Hey good people.
I'm trying to set up simplenews on my site so that new subscribers will be sent a message (preferably formatted) when they are successfully subscribed to my newsletter.
What I'm trying to achieve is actually rewarding my users for subscribing by promising them certain benefits for leaving their e-mail address with us.
"We will send you the top 10 tips for your intimate relationship when you sign up for our newsletter"

I'm thinking either to forward the user to a un-indexed page containing the 10 tips when they hit the link in the confirmation e-mail OR sending them the promised content when they have signed up and the e-mail is confirmed.

I've had a look at the forum posting http://drupal.org/node/126141 but I'm not sure that will help me in the direction I need to go.

Any thoughts on how to accomplish this?
