nancydruI will be providing a conversion function to the Web Links module. After that is done, I wil move this request over to that module; it is possible that this can be done with other modules (e.g. Flags), but I will have to check.

nancydruI think we need to look at the Flag module to provide most of this. For those moving from other links type modules, keep in mind that Web Links has a checker add-on that can handle dead links automatically.
With proper set up, the Flags module appears to do this just fine. Rather than trying to second guess what a user might want, I think this should be left for the admin to define.
