Given the variation among modules and developers with regard to versioning practice ...

I'm on drupal 5.x

Which version is preferred for a live-site installation - the current beta or the dev version.

(I know that the dev versions are often unstable, but some developers roll the best current patches into their dev versions so they may actually function better than the current "stable" copy. On the other hand, I understand that "MAY" is the operative word ...)

This version of Advanced Poll is not supported anymore. The issue is closed for this reason.
Please upgrade to a supported version and feel free to reopen the issue on the new version if applicable.
