For sites that have large numbers of images (hundreds) the choices of "My Images" and "All Images" can be insufficient to narrow down the list of images. It would be handy if image galleries are enabled to have another selector - or more options in the current selector - for image galleries.

If this is just a configuration option I have missed then please let me know. I may end up patching this myself in the next few weeks depending on how badly my client wants it.

This is a request for cvs since it's a feature, but I'm using 1.56.2.5 for 4.7 currently.

on http://www.example.com/admin/settings/img_assist under "Access settings" there is as setting called "Select the vocabularies to use for img_assist:"
There should be a vocabulary called "Image Galleries" here. If you select this, you should be able to view only the images in those galleries in the dropdown box when selecting images.

phuc - that was it. Thanks very much for pointing that out. I had read it before but I just didn't understand how that setting affected the interface was used.
