Is it just me or does uninstall not remove the content types? There's also no delete button to delete the content types manually from the types admin page.

This should be part of the uninstall process.

Unfortunately it's hard to make Drupal uninstall node types. Not at least because we cannot detect dependencies (see for instance #774464: Cloned feed importer doesn't retain 'Attached to' setting when default importer is disabled). This is an issue that needs fixing upstream (in Drupal core).
