I.A. uploads new image but will not hand focus back to content body to insert image when using an Artisteer 2.4 theme. I have contacted Artisteer and they say it's a module problem not a theme problem... of course.

It appears to be working until you have all the settings completed and click insert to add the image to your content.
Nothing happens it seems to nearly finish but does not.
Here are the 2 errors logged, 1 is from Firefox the other IE 8

Message: Can't move focus to the control because it is invisible, not enabled, or of a type that does not accept the focus.

To work around this I have set Drupal to use a different theme for admin and editing pages.

Has anyone else had this problem? I can provide a login to a site I set up to solve Artisteer problems via private dialog.

Thank you for any help you can offer.

I'm having the same issue, and the same error message:
Can't move focus to the control because it is invisible, not enabled, or of a type that does not accept the focus.
Using IE8, but the difference is I'm not using Image Assist (I gave up on it)
I'm using ImagePicker instead. But I'm getting the same issue.

I don't get any error messages with Chrome 5, however, it simply won't input the code into the body where it belongs.

It appears to be the Image module not image assist. I have had some luck with disabling the Image module (DO NOT uninstall) delete it from my all/sites/module folder, then re-upload it, re-enable etc etc. But not EVERY time.

OK I think I finally have my answer. It is a ImageMagick Advanced Options problem.

1. Artisteer theme is 2.4 or newer
2. Disable ImageMagick Advanced Options
3. Go to /admin/settings/image-toolkit
4. re-save configuration.

This has worked for me on 3 sites in a row. So, I am calling it closed (fixed) since there is no closed (lack of interest) lol

Well it's NOT fixed. I am sadly searching for an alternative to Image Assist since I have way too many sites committed to Artisteer themes to drop that. IA is otherwise an amazing module that made it easy for my VERY non-technical web updaters to use.

If ANYONE has any insight to how I can solve this persistent problem (save going to Artisteer they just sing the "it's a 3rd party module" song) and keep using IA they would be a lifesaver.

Thanks

Unfortunately, themes generated by Artisteer are dirty hacks and therefore cannot be supported.

@sun
I agree that Artisteer is the problem. IA is a great tool, that I wish I could use. With nearly 40 Artisteer sites I am way too invested now.

Keep up the good work
