Hi! The module is just released, so i guess before making new features, we need some more bug fixes. This module, saves each pdf page as an ImageField file, so you can use any of this modules to customize output for now.
Looks very promising; it does the all the hard work for easy publishing of pfds to whatever flash based e-magazine solution...just occured to me as the obvious use case.
LOL
Initial task was exactly like this! Original customer wished to have a flash based browser for his PDFs and was convincing me that flash can show pdfs :)
I told him the task should be divided into 2 parts - rendering a PDF file to images, and then using some flash code to browse that set of images.
So, adding nice browser for images - is the next task! )
I'll look into the interface for a separate module that can edit relevant settings on a pr node basis. We'll probably need different modules for the different use cases/flash solutions. Scroll down to see some screenshots from joomla admin: http://goo.gl/0K2k
For this feature request, I would suggest using this module on one end, but the presentationis a separate layer - find a field-formatter that presents a list of imagefields in a slideshow/flipbook.

If there is a good flipbook library (I'd look for html5 over flash) that meshes with this module, I'd link to it from the proj page.

-I've done some testing btw, and all is fine so far (except for some image api issues with regards to #360193: ImageAPI Broken - base_path() problem).
