When using the content profile module and its submodule Content Profile User Registration, requiered fields are not validated upon registration.

Changed to feature request, as I'm fairly certain the Content Profile fields are not built in CCK. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

This module builds user profiles as content (aka nodes), which opens the opportunity to use all the powerful modules for content for user profiles too, e.g. the Content Construction Kit (CCK). It's intended to be simple and useful, but extensible by further modules.

It looks like this whole module may (thankfully) now be unnecessary. Please see http://drupal.org/node/849100.

I'm not sure if it is a recent change that makes this functionality possible, but unless I'm notified of an unintended benefit of CCK Required Single Select, I'll soon discontinue it.
