I have tested acidfree and the filemanager everything seems fine. When I go to 'create content > acidfree album' and save a new one it says it's successful but where is it? I saved three and can't find any of them anywhere! When i subsequently go to 'create content > acidfree photo' there are no albums to add these photos to!
Am I doing something silly? I've read the manual http://vernon.mauery.com/content/projects/software/acidfree/manual but i can't see wh`t I'm doing wrong. Anyone help?

acidfree/albums not found
I have the same problem. I can create albums and add content to them. However when I access the node mySite/acidfree I just get an empty page with an "Acidfree Albums" headline with the "view" tab open and an additional "edit" tab. I do get to the albums though by accessing them via their nodes. So the albums do exist but the acidfree overview obviously doesn't work. Actually in the log file it says: "acidfree/albums not found."
Thanks
Cheers Axel,
Thanks for your reply - I've now managed to create an album - just need to publish it now!"

but the problem still remains, or does it?
Hi howfin. Nice that this helped you but it was actually ment to be a confirmation that there is a problem rather than a help suggestion. So you've got everything working now? Do you see the album overview when you go to mysite/acidfree? I don't. I just get an empty page and the log says that it can't find the page acidfree/albums.
If you want to follow this up, I've added this to an existing issue which seems similar:

Same again
Yep, I've got a similar problem too. I get the title of the album, but no content when I go to mysite.org/acidfree . If I edit and preview it, all the photos come up - they're all there. But then I submit the edit, and they disappear again. I've got the latest version of acidfree, run update.php and even got the latest version of Drupal. Looking at the logs, I suspect that there's something up with the mySql database. I'm guessing this because I really don't know much about mySql, but after running update.php, I see:
Duplicate column name 'share' query: ALTER TABLE acidfree ADD COLUMN share TINYINT(1) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0' in /mysite/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 120.
Any thoughts?

And still...
Thanks much for the suggestion, VeryMisunderstood.
I followed the link and tried the suggestions:
- uploading latest versions,
- running update.php to update to AcidFree version 2,
- and even running the database script suggested by MuslimGuy.
And yet the root AcidFree node is still screwy. It doesn't show that there are photos in the album, except when previewing an edit on the root album. And the root album doesn't seem to display other albums either, even though those other albums, when their URLs are entered manually, *do* display the photos within them. In fact, the root album is just blankety blank. Except, of course, that when previewing an edit on it, all the photos come back for a brief, fleeting, moment.
Very tantalising. And very annoying. Any thoughts again?
nope, i dont happen to use
nope, i dont happen to use the module. If there is this much trouble with it, id open an issue on the project page, to notifiy the dev.
albums added are placed in moderation queue
I have the same problem too. It took me days to find out that albums created are placed in moderation queue. In order to see these albums, these are the steps I've made:
1. Went to admin/content menu (all contents of any types are here).
2. Clicked "edit" corresponding to the photo album I've created.
3. Click "Publishing Options".
4. Uncheck "In moderation queue" option.
5. Went to the user/acidfree.
Hope this helps.
PS
I have og module installed too. Question to VeryMisunderstood: do acidfree albums and photos uploaded by ordinary users need to be by default "in modetation queue"? Or, am I missing something here?
Many thanks.
