I've installed filemanager, and acidfree, but I am unable to see any of the commands shown in the acidfree documentation - how to create nested albums, add photos to particular albums etc.
It allows me to create albums - but even after creating two albums, in the create page, I don't see any selection that allows parent album to be selected.
I do see the following error in the log:
Unknown column 'share' in 'field list' query: SELECT class, large, small, thumb, weight, visited, votes, share FROM acidfree WHERE aid = 116 in /home/www/public_html/cms/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 120.
Any pointers to what could be wrong?
Going to /acidfree/test in my install says everything is fine.

I had exactly the same problems
Looks like that the latest version of Acidfree have a database bug in it. On of the earlier version for 4.7 was working better.
However, it's always better to stick with the latest version. It has more features and bugfix.
I had exactly the same problems on a web site where I never did install Acidfree before. When I got the message:
Unknown column 'share' in 'field list' query: SELECT............... I presumed that there were missing some fields in tables in the database.
So I went to the admin modules page and used the update script to force Acidfree to update its SQL tables by selecting the latest update number. In my case I choose 2.
After the update, I tried to create new contents with Acidfree. Success! No more errors.
I had to delete all previous Acidfree content, though. Even be editing these, they would not show up.
So delete all you Acidfree content, update the module SQL with the module update mechanism and recreate all you Acidfree content.
Hope this help you too.

Excellent - would never have figured this out.
Thanks very much!
That was it - had to force run upgrade 2 for acidfree.
Luckily, I did not have any content at all, so did not have to recover anything.
Maybe this should be listed as a bug? Will send an email to the acidfree developers, if they think this is an bug.
Mass import not working...
Well, I spoke too soon.
I should have paid attention to the comments regarding acidfree - saying this is still under development, so may not work that well.
mass import does not work.
1) using mass import - this totally fails.
I know Gallery2 can do mass uploads, and works fine with my hosting providers PHP settings, so hoping that Acidfree can be changed to use the safer PHP commands for unzipping files?
Mass import
Hi!
My first install showed problems too with Mass import. However, it's not an issue for me because I would end up editing each node anyway to change the title and description.
I'm sure the developer is already working on this issue. However you can always file a bug or report a request on the Acidfree page (http://drupal.org/project/acidfree).
As for Gallery2 I can't tell much. I've never tried this one.
Cheers,

*So delete all you Acidfree content* - hmmmm I wouldnt recommend that if anybody has the earlier version for 4.7 was working fine, and the slideshow is also working.
And anybody here like to modify the ACIDFREE SLIDESHOW?
I just add *a href=acidfree* to the slideshow *img src=* so that when clicking on the slideshow picture, it will go to the `Acidfree albums' showing all albums.
I dont know how to add that to the specific album or specific photo - it means that if you click on a photo being displayed one by one in the slideshow, it will go to the picture node, or maybe the Album....anybody here managed to do this? Thank you in advance

It seems that the faster a module is upgraded, some users are left in the lurch, and I had been too :)
With Acidfree album, the `SHARE' was not updated by my system, so I had to manually update the database

If anybody has persistent error message - Unknown column 'share'
that was because your database didnt update the `acidfree' table itself, so you got to do it manually
For a novice, its time to get dirty with PHPmyAdmin, but you can also use db.module to manage your database without having to go to PHPmyAdmin
Copy the above excerpt and click `SQL' tab and paste it and go
