Automatically deletes jpg and gif files from user's directory

IMCE is great for users who need to upload files and add links to those files.

However, I'm having trouble with jpg and gif files being automatically deleted from the users directory on the server.

I'm using the latest cvs.

If I use IMCE to upload picture.jpg it says the upload is successful, but the file isn't there if I list the files with FTP.
If I use FTP to upload picture.jpg it works until the next file is uploaded with IMCE. Then IMCE reports both "Upload successful" and "File deleted successfully". Checking with FTP confirms that IMCE has deleted picture.jpg.

The same thing happens with gif files, but not with png files. It also handles doc, pdf, and other allowed file-types just fine.
