Issue Summary
I would to have a meeting with all the maintainers and followers of this module in order to work on the Vision for this project. If we clearly define our roles and the game plan I'm pretty sure that we will have amazing results!
Now, I know that all we have jobs, so guess that nighs are better to have meetings. I have time all days from 7pm GMT -5 (including weekends), which is your availability?

I am in Los Angeles with Christefano and Chris Charlton all at -8GMT (tho -7GMT since we're currently under daylight savings). Let's share skype info through personal contact form.
Perhaps we can shoot for 8PM (GMT -5) / 6PM (-7GMT) Monday June 14?

I am interested in this subject because we (DrupalCamp Miami) are considering using an installation profile to create our site for our DrupalCamp in November 2010.

Please be on Skype at 6pm PDT (9pm EDT) tonight on June 14th. My Skype username is "sonicfather" and I can dial people in provided I am given everyone's Skype usernames. I currently have Chris Charton, develCuy and mike stewart's Skype info.
I'm not planning to lead this discussion. Everyone can talk about where they want the project to go, but keep in mind that Chris Charlton, who has done the work to turn the DrupalCamp LA camp site distribution into an installation profile, probably won't be joining us. Someone will need to take the initiative and post our meeting notes to the DrupalCamp project's issue queue or the existing discussion at http://groups.drupal.org/node/72373

develCuy and I spoke and have agreed to postpone this discussion until more people can participate.
Another thing that needs to happen is for the profile that was announced at http://groups.drupal.org/node/72373 to be committed to CVS.

Did I miss the discussion on June 14th? If I did, I am sorry that I missed it (I did not see the notification in time to make this meeting). Please let me know when the next meeting takes place.

I'm also interested in helping out. My schedule changes week to week but I can move some stuff around for another call. I'm working on the DrupalCamp Atlanta 2010 site based on last year's db so it's pretty fresh in my mind.

I'm interested in contribute to this as well, this installation profile have a lot of potential and it will benefit a lot of people.
I'm very busy lately, but I can put some hours per week to see this happen.

I'm sorry but if we move that slow, we will not get anything done. So I'll wait till July 9 for an answer about it, then I will decide where to address my contribution.

Guys, please don't take this personal, I just need to move things forward but things are not moving here unfortunately. Hope you get a chance to move this project, I was really motivated and my hope was to team with you. Hope that future brings us another chance.
