My administration page in the browser shows error 500 when attempting to install 2.7. Have to revert to 2.6 then works OK again.

Anyone having problems upgrading with the latest CCK?

I had a problem too upgrading. Haven't reverted back to 2.6. Doing it as we speak.

Well, I put the 6.x - 3.x dev in and it worked. So should we go back to 2.6 or keep 3.x i.e. does it have the security fix?

Updating CCK from 6.x-2.6 to 6.x-2.7 was completely flawlessly on my sites.
